Mikhail Farcossà respects your privacy. This policy explains what data mikhailfarcossa.com collects, why it is collected, and what you can ask for.
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Mikhail Farcossà. For any question about this policy, or to exercise the rights listed below, write to anton@antoniliev.com.
2. Data collected
(a) What you type into the contact form: name, email address, subject (optional) and message. (b) The technical data any website receives: IP address, browser and pages visited, in the hosting provider's server logs. (c) Aggregate usage statistics collected without cookies (Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights), which do not identify you.
3. Purposes and legal bases
To answer your message (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request); to keep the site running and secure and to measure its performance in aggregate (Art. 6(1)(f), legitimate interest).
4. Who processes the data
The site relies on providers acting as data processors: Supabase stores the messages in its database (servers in Frankfurt, EU), Resend sends the notification email (United States), Vercel hosts the site and provides the aggregate statistics (United States). Your message is also forwarded to the management addresses configured in the admin panel.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Resend and Vercel are based in the United States, and Google may process in the United States the data of the YouTube player (section 6), only if you start a video. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and, where applicable, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
6. YouTube videos
In the Media section you first see only the video previews, served by this site: nothing is loaded from Google. The YouTube player, in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), loads only when you press play. From that moment your browser connects to Google's servers: Google receives your IP address and may use cookies and similar browser storage to run the player, as an independent controller under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). If you don't start a video, none of this happens.
7. Cookies
Technical only, no profiling and no advertising: a `language` cookie that remembers the language you chose for 12 months. The site stores nothing else in your browser. Statistics are collected without cookies. This is why the site shows no consent banner.
8. How long data is kept
Messages sent through the form are kept for up to 24 months after the exchange ends, unless the law requires longer. Server logs and aggregate statistics follow the retention periods of the providers above.
9. Your rights
You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing based on legitimate interest: write to anton@antoniliev.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it).
